Sioux Talking Stick

Ta;ling Stick The Talking Stick was used primarily in Council. The bearer of the stick would be the one speaking and he spoke uninterrupted until his thoughts were heard. Approximately 28 inches in length and adorned with leather, beading, small feathers and horse hair. Made from a piece of straight creek willow or any small branch with a fork.
